You can read my general notes on Camp Wavelength here. This was my favourite discovery of the festival and the weekend's #1 dancing experience. This musical collective shares members with the Maracatu Mar Aberto drumming troupe, but here uses the percussion as just one element of an on-stage party that fuses together a whole series of genres under the vision of an all-encompassing Brazilian groove, whre psychedelic guitars, smooth vocals and bum-wigglin' rumba rhythms all add to the tasty stew. After a full day of music, this set kicked off the "late night" slate of bands and did an excellent job of reinvigorating the crowd.
