This electric string band (three guitars and bass) made some savvy selections into the deeper recesses of the Ken Aldcroft songbook, following up "Country Mile" (one of the emerging "standards" of the series) with a dip into some Alaniaris as heard here, as well as essaying the less-frequently-tackled Threads material and closing with the co-ordinated clatter of a Trolley ride.

Track Could Bend's first Tuesday of the month fell on New Year's Day, so it was kind of Andrew Furlong's Jazz and Otherwise Improvised Musics series to share a night when things were open for business. Selecting one set apiece, JAOIM presented this trio which offered some atmospheric explorations, with guitarist Max McEachern providing the connective thread between Brodie West's sax abstractions and Mark Zurawinski's grounded percussion.
