There was a smaller cadre of Homeostasisists this time out, but still plenty of unrushed driftage following the dictates of the Cosmic Homeostasis Tactical Memo. The Primary Drifters here were Paul Newman (sax, Namer-of-Things), Rob Cruickshank (electronics) and Joe Strutt (keyb/loops). A couple audience members (Dirty Inputs' Aaron Dawson and Johan Seaton) were pressganged into the proceedings on phone apps and electroacoustic bricabrac, which you can hear more of in the second selection here, including some of Dawson's tinkling wine glass chimes, which inspired the piece's title.

[Cosmic Homeostasis will return. In the meantime, Joe Strutt (in the guise of Heraclitus Akimbo) will be joined by Paul Newman at one of Ratio's "Decreation" celebrations this Sunday night.]

Recording: Robert Cruickshank + Heidi Chan

Artist: Robert Cruickshank + Heidi Chan

Song: [excerpt]

Recorded at Array Space ("Audiopollination #31.1"), June 9, 2015.

Robert Cruickshank + Heidi Chan - [excerpt]

This duo set matched Robert Cruickshank's table of electronics with Heidi Chan's flutes. Her work provided most of the raw material here, which was then processed in slushy whorls and other shapes.

[Audiopollination will be busy for the next month or so, offering up a spot for some touring musicians (including New York visitors Mob Job on Monday, June 22nd and bass clarinetist Kathryn Ladano on Saturday, June 27th), a "regular" Audiopollination featuring Michael Keith, Bob Vespaziani, Michael Lynn, David Sait, John Kamavaar and Mani Mazinani on Sunday, July 5th, plus the return of the self-curation project on Tuesday, July 14th.]
