A reunion of sorts for this kosmische duo, each of whom have lately been doing work on their own projects. The set started with some of the extended burbles of yore, a patient, all-in twenty minute glide before the set finished with this new piece, which seemed less concerned with Faust-y drift than amniotic stasis.

Full review to follow. Healing Power is as much a vibe and a community spirit as it is a record label. Returning to their origins in the Tranzac, this night brought together friends in bands new and old for a holiday celebration at the opposite solstice to their picnics.

There's not a lot of info out there yet on Castle If, and I'm not entirely sure what the relationship is to Cell Memory — this was performed as a duo last night, so I don't know if those were their individual bandonyms. But this is a project to keep an eye on. The music I've checked out online is a bit more beat-driven, though it was commented that this set was performed without a drummer. At any rate, I really dug the darkness-inducing combo of guit and icy synths at play here.
