Ayal Senior's Sunday afternoon monthly at The Tranzac has been evolving into a genial live-action variety show, with stand-up comedy and a flurry of musicians playing shorter sets. Leading off the afternoon, Katherine Walker-Jones offered some telescopic observations of life's all-important small gestures and moments.

Katherine Walker-Jones brought her song project to the Tranzac's Tiki Room, sharing some new tunes — bedroom strumming for heartaches, day-to-day joys, and other cosmic concerns. There are now a couple tunes up on her bandcamp for the listener's consideration, which gives a slightly-different flavour than the shared vulnerability of this first draft's raw directness.
