Justin Small - [excerpt]Hot on the heels of completing his year-long song-a-week subscription program came this rare solo performance from Justin Small (of Do Make Say Think/Lullabye Arkestra). Armed with guitar, pedals, a Korg mini-keyb and an old 4-track, Small created a nice arc, starting with some atmospheric tremolo guitar and layering some keyb sounds on top of that (as heard in this extract) before adding some beats. A tasty lead-in to the song-drift and loop-pedal excursions that would follow later on in the night.
