Longtime readers of this blog will know that I've been saying for years that Afrafranto are one of the best bands in the city. (A couple years back, they were one of the highlights of my 5th anniversary tape.) So I'm utterly delighted that the local kings of Ghanaian highlife and palmwine are finally releasing an album. That should make this an extra-special night — expect much dancing and celebrating.
