Having read about Frost in Musicworks and selectively sampled some of his work online, in my mind I was expecting something a bit more, well, fusty than the industrial-strength push that rumbled the audience members from some specially-brought-in extra bass subs. Offering a commanding profile through the strobelit haze (looking something like a top-knotted post-apocalyptic bike courier), Frost brought the whitenoise dronethrum of his recent A U R O R A album to pulsating life.
