Wish - Slacker

Full review to follow. The first time I saw this unit I was quite enthusiastic, and now further exposure has done nothing to dampen my sense that this group is right down my alley. The songs are good, but the band excels when they cruise into the shimmering/simmering extended instrumental passages. This set-closer brings to mind nothing so much as The Clean, both in Kyle Connolly's David Kilgour-ish vox and in the way his and Josh Korody's guitars play off each other in a manner that could enjoyably extend approximately forever.
