Cate Le Bon - I Can't Help You
Full review to follow. Last time she was in town, Cate Le Bon was playing to a half-full Rivoli. Fast forward sixteen months and add in last year's Mug Museum and you can tell a lot more folks are listening, with the Drake Underground sold out (to an enthusiastic yet unusually attentive, no less!). With her mix of Velvets-y chug and psychedelic folk, this was a pretty great set, with Le Bon hitting the stage as a more confident frontwoman than previously.
