You can read my general notes on the festival here. Another stylistic shift saw Shi Wisdom take to the stage. Flanked by a pair of co-vocalists, she dropped some R&B abstractions, the tracks well-suited for mellow park head-nodding. This one, with its ripped-from-the-CP24-headlines topicality feels rather close to the here and now, but other tracks ranged outward for some more cosmic musings.
