Sebastian Brown - Maple Leaf Rag
You can read my general notes on the festival here. It was quite pleasing to make my way down into the park on Sunday to the sounds of a tinkling piano, which had suddenly and mysteriously appeared on the festival's main stage. Playing a variety of classic rags (all without sheet music!) Brown unobtrusively serenaded the park's patrons and attracted a different set of passers-by to sit a spell and listen. Rather a refreshing change of pace.
