You can read my general notes on the festival here. Besides helping to get the festival ready to go, vocalist/guitarist Joel Dalton (who was doing sound at he beer tent stage) and bassist Roberto Granados-Ocon (who was tirelessly running around troubleshooting problems as they arose) also had the chance to lead things off musically as members of alt-country-ish unit The Idaho Stop. The thousand-and-one logistical snags that pop up in trying to get a festival running left them only with enough time for a four-song mini-set, but they certainly managed to pause for a moment of musical repose amongst the busy-ness.
