A band with a name like this Hamilton crew's could have gone a couple different ways — one could imagine it belonging to, say, a jammy hippy collective. And indeed, to look them over, one gets the impression that this is a band that started as a means for a group of misfits (the skater, the shirtless dude, the new-waver, the harsh noise grinder, Ally Sheedy) that met in some Breakfast Club-like environment to keep hanging out together. The upshot is a sort of simultaneous band/party that spills out into the audience, held together with the weak gravitational bonds of enthusiastic momentum.
