The Magic - Lies

It was exciting to finally hear the songs from last year's Nightfalling in the way they were meant to be heard — in a packed room with people dancing. Having Jessy Bell Smith on stage as a vocal foil amped things up considerably. An able rootsy singer on her own, here she added soulful buoyancy to Georgie Gordon's vocals. Tim Clarke also added vox and some EWI-ish sounds from a synth-sax.
