Fleshtone Aura - [excerpt]Off World celebrated the release of their first album with three nights of sonic exploration at Ratio, bringing friends and sonic fellow-travellers along to set the mood. The lid of Andrew Zukerman's suitcase synth flips open and can be lifted off, so you can take it as one considered element of this set that he left it attached and raised up, basically blocking the audience from seeing him as he played. Or not played, as once again the caesurae would expand, leaving the quiet scuffling sounds of the room to fill in between snatches of dialogue, stereo-panned percussive clattering and pingpong analog synthbursts.
