Body Help & Daniel Pencer - [excerpt from second piece]The addition of Daniel Pencer that I witnessed a few months back appears to have deepened with his sax now an essential part of the group's new recording, which was being released at this show. Kinesis is more of a carefully executed album than its document-the-live-show predecessor, pulling back the throttle a touch and adding subtle touches (most notably some textured vocals) from some guest performers. Live, though, they're still ripping things up, and Pencer was getting into the group's bend-your-sounds vibes with some effects of his own hooked up to his saxophone.
