Congratulations to the Ping, which celebrated its 19th Anniversary with some out-of-town guests. Calgary's Michael Weicker brought some visual panache to the night in performing with an Eigenharp, a versitile MIDI controller that looks like a bassoon, baliset and robot had an accident in a telepod. Weicker used it to generate some pleasing soundscapes and floating atmospheres.
