Full review to follow. Fusing such gossamer sources as Enya and Thomas Tallis, Julianna Barwick is riding high on last year's Nepenthe. She could probably have filled a larger room than the cozy DDL, but that made her ethereal clouds of looped vocals (achieved mostly with the use of a Boss RC-50) all the more of a bliss-out. Quite sensational stuff.
