Iderdown - ap050918 [movement II]A pleasant night out at the Ping saw some new sound experiments from familiar faces, leading off with Chris Trotter's electro-ambient explorations. Performing a new suite (that has also just emerged on bandcamp in a home-recorded version), there was a nice arc at play, from wall-rumbling low-frequency electro-pop excursions to trip-hop abstractions to the close brush with acid jazz heard here.
