A no-doubt slam-dunk for the week's coolest gig — for the past two years, the pleasant park excursions assembled by Feast in the East have seen summertime highlights, and there's no reason to think this one will be any different. A gorgeous setting unfamiliar to many downtown-centric concert-goers, Prairie Drive Park is just a short stroll over from Vic Park station. The backdrop of rumbling subway tracks, big sky and high-rises should work just perfectly with The Highest Order's city-fried country-rock — and what a perfect place to hear the songcraft of Eric Landry, an under-recorded and under-appreciated gem sharing a lifetime of visions and experiences. Absolutely not to be missed.
