This menacing slo-jam duo of Lesley Davies and Digits' Alt Altman was building up a good head of steam a few years back, with an EP and everything, but a "dimensional shipwreck" lead to some quiet time before the group was reactivated earlier this year. Songs that sound like the mellowest Kraftwerk duets ever imagined usually conceal apocalyptic imagery (often couched in action-movie tropes) so the music sounds as timely as ever in the current cultural environment.

[Bad Passion will be playing alongside Poster Boy, Leucrocuta and The Databats at Handlebar this Sunday (July 29th).]
