These veterans of the British jazz/improvised scenes have been playing for over forty years, so there was no shortage of spark and savvy on this joint duo tour. Weston's dense clusters on piano were a fitting counterpoint to Watts' far-ranging saxophone — and once they got rolling there were some thrilling moments. They did three long-ish pieces, the last of which saw them joined by Barnyard Drama's Christine Duncan and Jean Martin to close out the night.
