Rod Campbell/MJ Wright/Aaron Corbett - [first piece]It is sometimes quite astounding how well Audiopollination's "self-curated" nights can work, creating beautiful sounds that cohere not just within a set, but over the course of a whole night. This opening combination of Rod Campbell's trumpet, MJ Wright's junkshop percussion and Aaron Corbett's modular synths were nicely simpatico right from the start, breaths and blips moving from burbling textures to excited crescendos.
