Fahmid Nibesh - [first piece]Well known in local creative music circles as a deep listener and organizer, Fahmid Nibesh has stepped out to perform — here in celebration of his Along the Seismic Margins album. Offering "structured improvisation for electric guitar and amplifier, inspired by the work of Anthony Braxton and Will Alexander", the album (as well as the live set) explores different points between feedback manipulations and roots drones, not above hinting at melodic structures but also not constrained by them.
