Sitting on the floor with a half-circle of pedals and suchlike around him, Phil Hamilton's set was a little quieter than some of the sonic attacks I've heard him undertake, but once again noteworthy for the succinctness with which he developed his musical themes. A Beard Closet set is an "always leave 'em wanting more" proposition — unless you've forgotten your earplugs.
