Full review to follow. A joyful night to celebrate the release of Matt Dunn's long-gestating Tecumseh album. The vinyl artifact is a beautiful object, and the contents were hinted with a full band set that saw Dunn backed by Jonathan Adjemian, Isla Craig and Brandon Valdivia. They created a cosmological context for Dunn's playing on several instruments, but I was most enraptured by this segment with some adroit but subtle guitar licks. A musician's musician and busy collaborator, Dunn really deserves wider recognition as one of the city's most gifted players.
