Full review to follow. Higher education's gain has been the music scene's loss, and it's been too long since I saw Laura Barrett playing her own material. Hopefully that situation's not going to last forever, and it was exciting to hear a couple new songs being played on the piano. Barrett is joined here by Patti Cake's Kritty Uranowski, adding her pipes — and leading the singalong on "The Humble Fawn" — which also features some guest piano from Chris Cummings.
