Never resting on their laurels for too long, Teenanger have returned with twenty-four minutes of new music (a length that probably explains that inbetweeny title) building on some of the elaborations that emerged on Singles Don't $ell without abandoning the energy of their core sound. Bassist Melissa Ball gets a lead vocal on "Mild Survivor", and, as heard here the band juts into new wave/no wave territory with a guest saxophone turn from Nancy Bocock in "Twisted". [Teenanger will be opening for Texans The Marked Men at Sneaky Dee's on November 23, 2014.]
