Colin Fisher + Phil Melanson - [excerpt 1]Full review to follow. Playing with Montréaler Phil Melanson (of MagicEyeImage and his bandmate in Bernice), Colin Fisher joined in for a two-night home-and-home musical series. Dunno what happened at the other end of the 401, but the T.O. leg featured some excellent deep excursions down a grimy alleyway in some seedy district on the far side of Saturn. In this chunk from the early part of the set, both are twiddling knobs on whatever pedals/electronics they were running through, such that that barely needed to make make use of their primary inputs (guitar and drumpads).
