Late afternoon on a day with air like soup, cicadas singing and leaves hanging dark green and luscious from their branches saw three performers with long intertwining backstories in the Southern Cross' extra-early Monday slot. Directing the musical traffic, Mike Gennaro suggested a round of solos, short bursts from each of possible duo combinations and then a closing trio encounter. So here's a taste of all three of these things, including a de facto Wrist Error reunion between Newman and Gennaro.
