Full review to follow. Chances to see Michael McLean and Carl Didur live in action are pretty rare, so there was no way I was going to miss this. It turned out to cook even harder than the last time I saw the band, and that was a pretty awesome show. Both of these selections feature the band's core keyb/bass/drums trio being joined by Colin Fisher, on percussion on the first and sax on the second. Word on the street is that there's a double-album vinyl compilation of ZA's recordings coming out soon, so do keep your eyes peeled for that.
