Dancing like James Brown on PCP and dropping cryptic knowledge (viscosity and "occult rocksmithing" were among the topics examined), Randy Gagne's mutant disco-funk was, as ever, utterly entertaining and mildly befuddling. He remains one of the city's best-kept musical secrets.
