Over the past year, the live presentations of the songs from Perri's Impossible Spaces album have been getting increasingly elaborate, stretching out to encompass extended polyrhythmic jams. Trying something different for SummerWorks, Perri has imploded the songs into a pulp (or is that into a Polmo Polpo?), bringing a seated and drumless keyboard-based quartet out for this quieter show.
