Full review to follow. Booked into Harbourfront's "Island Soul" weekend, Afrafranto shrunk the musical distance between West Africa and the West Indies. It's never a shock when the group sounds phenomenal, but I was pleasantly surprised how much new material there was in the setlist — they're not resting on their laurels and playing the same stuff over and over.
