- Bar Orwell — which has been a open-eared community hub for the past while now — has closed as a result of Severe Landlord Trouble. They're looking to re-establish the venue in a better space, which is no easy thing in this market and economy. The city's definitely a better place with community-focused venues that are willing to take risks on strange and/or abrasive sounds, so you should read their story and support their gofundme.
