Owl's Club, with its cosy/casual Legion Hall vibes, has been emerging as a community hub — not in the least beacuse of Kyle Knapp's Raw Materials collective. Many of the groups from that circle can be found playing at this rager, with performances in both the upper and lower-floor spaces, all in the service of helping Owl's Club to pull together some funding for much-needed roof repairs. Come out and see some excellent bands + help preserve a much-needed space for independent culture.

- On Sunday, Fahmid Nibesh and I will be hosting an "Archive Jam" for the Music Gallery, focusing on their years at 179 Richmond W. The aim of this event is to get folks who were on the scene to bring their ephemera — photos, posters, programs, and so on — so they can be added to the MG's archive. Part storytelling, part show-and-tell, it's a casual way to try and join our community's past and living present. All the info you need is here.
