I've been a fan of the Music Gallery's Emergents series for several years now, so it was a real rush when I was asked to curate one of this year's instalments. This show features two different approaches to musical experimentation, matching Castle If's plant-kingdom synthtopia with Laura Swankey's vocal journeys. I'm hoping this will be a sonic treat for Music Gallery regulars... and for those who don't get out there too often, a chance to experience a show in one of the city's best venues.
