In the mix:

  • One reason this posting was a bit later than usual is that I admittedly got distracted last night when I was planning to start pulling it together. With some Bach harpsichord pieces in the background, I had the thought — not for the first time! — "these would sound really cool if they were played slower." So I opened up a bunch of sarabandes in Audacity and did just that. Not going so far as the radical/Paulstretched "400% slower" that we were all doing a few years ago, this is more like playing a 45 with the turntable set to 33. This I dig!

Bandcamp corner:

  • Meanwhile, Bandcamp Friday is coming up again this week (September 5th), so don't forget to support some artists you adore. Here's a couple things on my list:

It happened this week...

  • ...on September 2, 2017 at Yonge-Dundas Square (Intersection – Day 3).

Northumbria - unknown

  • ...on September 4, 2017 at Allan Gardens (Intersection – Day 4).

Castle If & Music In The Barns - Untitled (Theme For a Labyrinth)
