• The 2025 Musicworks Electronic Music Composition Contest is open! This annual juried contest spotlights new musical talent from around the world, offering cash prizes and opportunities to be heard and published. Also of note, while it costs $30 to enter, that fee includes a one-year Musicworks subscription, making this a good deal that'll keep you informed about creative music happenings, often with some stories about (or by!) folks covered on this blog. Contest closes October 31, 2025, and prize details, eligibility, rules and so forth can be found here.
