On a day with a smoke cloud settling over the city, menacing campfire smell in the air, the Music Gallery closed out their season with a couple groups bringing some amorphous and wafting sonic plumes. This improvisatory electroacoustic duo of Lester St. Louis and Chris Williams saw them (mostly) set aside their customary instruments (cello and trumpet) to instead delve into electronic abstraction, shaping gentle noise skritchings into hovering electrical storms, before flipping into some beautiful ambient drift.
