Christine Duncan & Patrick O'Reilly - [first section]
Patrick O'Reilly assembled this special evening at The Tranzac to exchange some local sounds with visiting Estonian musician Kristjan Kannukene, and paired himself with vocalist Christine Duncan. The latter also brought along her theremin, which I hadn't head for a while, while O'Reilly dug into his backpack of pedals and escritoire of extended techniques, leading off with the percussive sounds heard at the outset here and later pushing towards some gnarly grinding rock.
