Further aligning three distinct soundworlds into a single vision on their forthcoming album (which I hear is a cracker!) Hamilton's Freaky Boos are touring up and down the 401 in celebration, meeting with like-minded community-oriented crews along the way. The stupendous drones'n'secular hymns duo Joyful Joyful just add to the goodness to be had. (Full disclosure: I'll also be playing the show as part of an as-yet unnamed trio alongside Liz Lima and Del Stephen. Expect voices, clarinet, field recordings, synths and so on.)
