The first of this season's Emergents Series shows — always an excellent destination to discover new sonic approaches — features the first offering from new series curator Sara Constant. This night includes Grace Scheele's electroacoustic re-imagining of the harp, as well as the interdisciplinary force of Xuan Ye — who should be well known to this blog's readers as a badass rock'n'roller, social-media sonifier, piano deconstructionist and more – "manipulating electronics to turn the Great Hall of 918 Bathurst, as well as its adjacent Sun Room, into changing, interactive sound installations."
