Radiant Brass Ensemble - AGOrienteering [excerpt]Full review to follow. Scott Thomson's "cartographic composition" defined a physical route through the second floor galleries of the AGO for eight musicians, who would occasionally stop and play a dialogue when their paths crossed. If my map-reading and time-keeping skills are right, this snippet is a meeting between Nicole Rampersaud and Jim Lewis. The Galleria Italia turns out to have great sonic qualities — can we get more music there?
