Shaw-Han Liem might have just released an album of full-band renditions of his electronic songs, but he's already busily working on the next phase of his solo work. Mixing his chipper odes with real-time processed visuals, he's creating a new form of visual music, with this show feeling like a showcase of someone mixing the vision of Norman McLaren with modern technology. It also functioned well as a live music experience, with room for things-going-wrong giving the proceedings an in-the-moment feeling.
