Montréal sound-artist Migone took advantage of the festival's stageless presentation to spread his sound-implements out among the crowd. At the heart of his set was this segment, mixing a pleasantly airy ambient background with the localized fry-frazzle of the vibrations of plastic pellets on sheets of foil, reverberating to the sounds of small music players. Creating a temporary shifting soundfield, this invited listeners to move around and explore the shape of the sounds being generated.
