Pavilion - Binds

This quartet might have turned a few heads due to the presence of Fucked Up's Jonah Falco behind the drumkit, but it was guitarist/vocalist Grace Lisa Scott that commended attention here. Her slightly-flattened alto (giving occasional hints of Chrissie Hynde) was a good match with the band's slightly-icy postpunk-flecked sound. A certain vide of artsy mystery was enhanced by a cameo from a ghostly goth-mime who made his away across the stage and then worked his way through the crowd.
