Teen Tits Wild Wives - [prog segue suite]On a night celebrating the release of DAS RAD's ace new Radiation album, the night's openers were mostly drawn from the "family" of Teen Tits Wild Wives and other bands associated with its members. Perhaps everyone got enough chances to rage out in those other sets, as TTWW instead went inwards, devoting about half of their set to a different sort of loosely-structured abstraction than what they usually approach, filled with implied tension rather than extroverted release. This appears to be a near-final page in the TTWW story, as they have announced their next gig [Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Smiling Buddha] as their final show.
