Walk North - Heart Attack

The dissolution of Anagram has led to much-anticipated/fuckin'-good-right-outta-the-gate Surinam, but has also bequeathed us Walk North, wherein Anagram bassist Jeff Peers has moved to guitar in this post-hardcore-ish trio. They've only played a couple local shows so far, and those have been on the same bills as Surinam. Makes sense, as there's a some musical common ground at play, though in Walk North the guit/bass/drums stay interlocked in more evenhanded tussle with Peers' growly vocals fighting their way through the morass. The band doesn't have much of an online presence yet, so here's a taste of what you can expect.
